We architect a C3-symmetric triskelion “Nanotorus” structures into hierarchic andorganized “Microtorus” structures by using mercury, a toxic metal. Thus in this study wehave demonstrated a unique example of toxic metal instructed assembly for“Nanoarchitectonics” of the formation of microtorus structures, which can be exploited forseveral potential applications ranging from biomedical to nanotechnology.
